Acceptable use

Anubis is for designing robots that will be built and operated lawfully. These rules apply to every design run, change and release request, whether made in the workspace, through the API or through the MCP server.

Prohibited categories

Anubis must not be used to design, in whole or in part:

  • Weapons, weapon platforms, munitions, or components whose purpose is to cause harm.
  • Systems intended to target, track or surveil people without their knowledge and consent.
  • Anything whose manufacture, possession or operation would be unlawful where it is built or used.

Requests in these categories are refused at the specification stage and the refusal is shown with its reason.

What Anubis outputs are

Anubis produces engineering verification evidence. It does not certify a design or make it compliant with any standard, and a design that passes simulation is not thereby safe to deploy. You are responsible for the review, testing, certification and lawful operation of anything you build from an Anubis design package. Manufacturing files are released only after authorized human engineering review.
